Graham was contracted to rebuild the Groat Road bridge over the North Saskatchewan River, a 330-metre-long, four-lane bridge built in the 1950s and reaching the end of its lifespan. When Graham Construction won the $45.6 million contract to repair the Groat Road bridge in Edmonton, the team didn’t know they would need to use a technique never seen before in Canada to get the job done.
